The AxixMedia Channel is a premium branded Channel portal for business television shows. AxixMedia works with Independent Producers to distribute shows on the AxixMedia Channel to niche audiences. Our programs are produced by and for business professionals. Syndication Partners produce and own their own shows which they syndicate to the AxixMedia Channel. Independent producers benefit by having their shows delivered by a trusted media brand specializing in business expertise, emerging best practices, new technologies and industry insights.
Our sponsor model is unique in the industry and leverages the value of niche audiences usually in B2B markets. While sponsor fees are based on distribution (as with typical impression based ad products) the AxixMedia Channel focuses on delivering leads to our sponsors by collaborating with our sponsors to target prospects in their target market and by facilitating lead capture through forms and landing pages integrated into the AxixMedia Channel platform. The value of the sponsorship is determined by the sponsors simply by calculating the number and value of captured leads and lead conversions but sponsors only pay for viewer consumption (measured in viewer-minutes). We collaborate with our sponsors and their marketing staff to maximize the efficiency of lead capture using the AxixMedia Channel platform tools.
The reach of any broadcast can be expanded through marketing campaigns driven by the sponsor in order to deliver highly targeted prospects to the audience where they can more easily be converted into active leads. Our Syndication Partners can also collaborate with sponsors to achieve better alignment between show content and prospect’s needs and challenges. We can even help sponsors design and implement campaigns designed to drive prospects through a content graph that includes our shows which become premium content in their own content marketing strategy.
Under our syndication agreement, independent producers can solicit underwriting fees directly from companies that sponsor their shows. Sponsors pay AxixMedia directly for our broadcast fees which are charged on a flat, per viewer-minute basis. Producers collect underwriting fees directly from the sponsor or other source. AxixMedia will collaborate with producers to facilitate this process. Program hosts benefit directly by being able to drive Channel traffic to their own sites. Programs are produced and owned by the Syndication Partner. Syndication Partners can sponsor their own shows provided they follow our content guidelines (see Sponsor Model below).
Why Be a Syndication Partner?
Our Syndication Partners usually act as hosts or produce shows with subject matter experts within their own organization acting as hosts. Syndication Partners produce their own shows without help from AxixMedia and then syndicate those shows to the AxixMedia Channel for a limited time. The AxixMedia Channel has exclusive distribution rights to these shows as long as they remain on the Channel but the programs are owned by the Syndication Partner and can be removed at any time once sponsor commitments have been fulfilled.
Hosts are usually business experts who build their reputations as subject matter experts through the shows they create for distribution on the AxixMedia Channel and help establish credibility and trust between the audience and the brand. In most cases our hosts interview other subject matter experts to explore specific challenges in their industries. Hosts can be business consultants who are seeking to reach their own target markets; authors who are building their own audience; or experts within a business or professional organization that seek to reach a larger audience for the benefit of their organizations.
Interviews are easy to do and take little time. The outcome is a premium piece of content: an online television show distributed through an online television channel dedicated to producing content for business professionals. The audience can find expert knowledge on emerging best practices, new technologies they use in their own profession or basic information about their industry not readily available elsewhere. Today, in ever changing business environments created by the continuous evolution of innovative technologies and new business practices, the learning curve for any profession never ends. Our hosts help their audiences meet these challenges by connecting them to some of the best minds in their industry.
In addition to building their own reputation as a subject matter expert our hosts also benefit by being able to drive channel traffic to their own websites or to a company site where they can convert audience members to prospects for their own services. AxixMedia recovers our expenses directly from the show sponsor so there is never any cost to the Syndication Partner for AxixMedia services.
AxixMedia offers programs that address issues in multiple business professions and industry segments. Syndication Partners can create video programs in any of these areas provided that sponsors are interested in supporting their show. Syndication Partners may bring sponsors to the table working in collaboration with AxixMedia. If needed, AxixMedia provides optional program development services to help you design your show from the ground up. This includes creating your own show, its name, brand, logo and video header (the introduction that runs at the opening of each show). Syndication Partners can sponsor their own shows provided they follow our sponsor guidelines (see Sponsor Model below).
Costs & Expenses
Broadcast fees are paid by the sponsors and are charged based on viewer consumption (as measured in viewer-minutes). Broadcast fees include all AxixMedia services including distribution, analytics, lead capture and reporting, distribution support and technical support. AxixMedia does not share sponsor revenue directly with our Syndication Partners. Syndication Partners may solicit sponsors directly for funding or acquire it from other underwriting sources.
Our programs usually feature interviews conducted by a host who interviews guests that are either other subject matter experts or business professionals who can talk about the needs and challenges they face in their own industry. This may include clients. We review all programs to ensure that they do not include promotional or advertorial content.
Best practices for our hosts include a pre-interview with their guest where topics to be discussed on air can be explored by both parties. Guests can provide a list of discussion points or hosts can develop their own talking points for the on air interview. Good hosts listen well when interviewing their guests and ask questions that would naturally occur to audience members. Hosts can also offer presentations of their own without having guests on their shows. The goal is always to provide content that is interesting, informative and usually entertaining. Hosts should carefully vet their guests to ensure that they have real expertise in their industry and are not simply seeking to promote a product, brand or service. We work closely with our Syndication Partners to ensure that the shows they create meet our standards for professional content.
Our Sponsor Model
Our hosts usually work in the same industry as the sponsor and share the same target market. Audiences are highly targeted toward business professionals in a specific industry or profession. These niche audiences while small are far more valuable than mass media audiences. The sponsors help drive traffic to the shows using their own marketing campaigns. AxixMedia shows provide premium content that sponsors are now seeking to include in their own content graph. Often sponsors don’t have the expertise or the experience to create this high value content and that is why they turn to the AxixMedia Channel. We work closely with our sponsors to help connect them directly to these audiences using interactive technologies to capture and convert leads. Our shows provide a more effective prospect journey for their target market by providing interesting and informative content that engages viewers and helps guide them to the solutions they seek so they can better overcome the needs and challenges they face every day.
AxixMedia offers both AxixMedia branded programs and custom programs produced specifically for a brand. The sponsor model is essentially the same in both cases. Channel programs must meet our content guidelines that prohibit promotional or advertorial content. Some limited promotional spots are made available as separate video segments. We do not insert commercials into our programs. Each episode has its own exclusive sponsor (a single brand may sponsor one or more episodes). Longer promotional or advertorial content can be distributed on a white labeled version of the AxixMedia Channel that is not made available to regular viewers but which can be used by a brand in their own marketing campaigns. All our programs are designed to address issues that are of concern to the sponsors’ target market.
